What this site collects

Aggregate page view counts, through Vercel Web Analytics. That records which pages were viewed, roughly where in the world the request came from, and what kind of device it was. It does not set cookies, does not build a profile of you, and does not follow you to other sites.

Because no cookies are set for tracking, this site does not show a cookie banner. That is not an oversight. It is the reason the banner is unnecessary.

What this site does not collect

  • No accounts, usernames or passwords. There is nothing to log in to.
  • No newsletter signup, no lead capture, no contact form.
  • No advertising or retargeting pixels of any kind.
  • No social media embeds, share widgets or comment systems.
  • No session recording, heatmaps or scroll tracking.
  • No third-party fonts. Typefaces are served from this site, so no request goes elsewhere.

The calculator

The cost calculator supplied with the guide runs entirely inside your browser. The figures you type are used to do arithmetic on the page in front of you and are never transmitted anywhere. Nothing is saved, on this site or on your device. Close the tab and the numbers are gone.

That also means there is nothing to recover if you close it by accident. Write down anything you want to keep, or print the page.

Payment

Buying a guide sends you to an outside checkout provider that handles the transaction and acts as merchant of record. Your card details are entered on their systems and never reach this site, which has no facility to receive them.

That provider will hold your email address and purchase record under its own privacy policy, so it can send your receipt and honor a refund. Unbrochure receives your email address for the purpose of delivering the guide and dealing with refunds, and uses it for nothing else. It is not added to a mailing list and is not shared.

Email

If you write to hello@unbrochure.com, that message sits in an ordinary email account until it is dealt with. It is not fed into a marketing system.

Your rights

You can ask what is held about you, ask for it to be corrected, or ask for it to be deleted. Write to hello@unbrochure.com. Given how little is collected, the honest answer to the first question is usually that there is nothing beyond your purchase record with the checkout provider.

Changes

If this policy changes, the date on the mark above changes with it, and the change is described here rather than announced by a banner.
