Almost everything published about a place like Fairfield Glade is produced by someone who earns money if you move there. Brokerages write the guides. Portals run the listicles. Community marketing teams supply the photography. None of that is fraud, and some of it is genuinely useful.

But it produces a predictable shape of omission. Nobody in that arrangement is paid to lead with an assessment increase, a fee that lands at closing, or how far it is to a cardiologist. Those facts do not sell houses. They only matter to the person buying one.

A guide that carried a single listing dollar would have to pull those punches, and the moment it did, there would be no reason for anyone to read it instead of the free material. The independence is not a virtue signal. It is the only thing that makes the product worth $29.

It means a person checked that figure against the source named in the footnote, on that date, and the source said what the page says it said. It does not mean the figure is still true today. Numbers change, and the date is there so you can judge how much weight to put on one.

Most of what is wrong on the internet about a retirement community is not invented. It is a true statement from several years ago that nobody dated. Undated facts do not announce their own decay.

Pages carrying data also carry a changelog, so you can see what changed and when, including the times a figure was wrong and got fixed.

Every load-bearing number on this site is footnoted to a source you can open yourself. The core research draws on the 2025 Cumberland County community health needs assessment, local news reporting on the Community Club budget, and state and federal published data.

Where a figure is derived rather than reported, the page says so and shows the arithmetic. Where a figure is missing, the page carries a visible mark saying what is needed. Those marks stay up until somebody finds the source. They are not a sign the page is unfinished. They are the part of the method that other publications leave out.
